Use Restrictions

All trees grown by the ODNR Division of Forestry are intended for conservation purposes only. The buying and reselling of trees is strictly prohibited pursuant of Section 1503.06 - Ohio Revised Code.

Purchasing and Refunds

All trees purchased from the ODNR Division of Forestry are sold as-is. Refunds and exchanges are at the sole discretion of the Division of Forestry.

In the event of inventory crop failure or stock shortages, the ODNR Division of Forestry reserves the right to issue a refund or contact the customer to negotiate an acceptable species substitution.

Shipping and Pickup

Shipping is fulfilled by a third party. The Division of Forestry is not responsible for product damaged or lost through shipping. The Division of Forestry may withhold or cancel shipping due to extreme weather or logistics. Any order discrepancies or non-transit issues must be reported in writing with photo documentation within 48 hours of receipt/delivery.

Orders returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect customer address will not be refunded or re-shipped.

Orders not picked up by the scheduled pickup date will be released back into inventory within three days and payments will not be refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to provide an appropriate vehicle for transportation of the product.

Product Information

The ODNR Division of Forestry assumes no responsibility or liability for the planting of any tree seedlings, and, in the sale thereof, makes no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and makes no warranties regarding the survival or rate of growth of any seedlings.

Pricing is subject to change without notice.

Seedlings are perishable living plants. The customer is solely responsible for proper temporary storage, care, and timely planting upon receipt or pickup.

Order Limits

Orders from the ODNR Division of Forestry must meet a required minimum of 10 seedlings of a single species. Orders in excess of 1000 seedlings require approval from the ODNR Division of Forestry.

Force Majeure / Acts of God

The ODNR Division of Forestry is not liable if orders cannot be fulfilled due to natural disasters, crop blights, extreme weather, or government actions.
